WASHINGTON, DC January 23, 2008
The 35th annual prayer/march protesting Roe v Wade
From northern New York State, Msgr. Paul E. Whitmore writes:
"This week brought a great burst of light into the darkness! Over one hundred thousand people gathered in Washington to take part in the great March for Life on the Capitol. This is one of the great unifiers, when people of every political and religious persuasion join together to celebrate Life, the life given us by God from the moment of conception.
As a result of The March For Life every year, there are hearts converted, and charity prevails over insult and clamor. Many others joined them through prayer and local marches. Respect for the unborn brings a climate of respect for life at every stage. Our call to discipleship is never better served than in this cause."

29 We, the People of the United States wait for Justice. This year we have again shown our faith in God as we peacefully protest the most unjust law ever handed down in this country since it's inception. If it isn't reversed, this country will continue to lose its faith, its freedom, its vitality, its symbol of light and strength before all nations. It's up to you and to me to do our part.
30 Statistics show that abortion is on the wane, and the very notion of having an abortion is becoming repulsive to young mothers and mothers-yet-to be. Please continue to pray for them and anyone intending to have an abortion.
